Poster in Room #12: Design of a Ring Resonator for Microstrip Characterization
Presenter: Keerthi Padmaraju
University of South Florida

Abstract
A ring resonator was designed and simulated at 2 GHz. The ring resonator is a method for measuring the dielectric property of a material and the resonator is excited by a transmission line through a capacitive coupling and at certain frequencies, depending on the electrical length of the resonator, a standing wave pattern forms around the circular path of the resonator.
